Hunters should expect excellent turkey hunting this spring with lots of mature gobblers in the state. Kentucky’s turkey flock is still enjoying the bounty provided by excellent reproduction in 2008, which helped set a record spring turkey harvest last year. The high number of adults in the flock gives Kentucky hunters an excellent chance to bag a large gobbler this spring.
