This view is from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources’ Steele Branch Boat Ramp looking downstream on Pool 3 of the Kentucky River. This pool features the last of the Kentucky River Palisades as well as excellent fishing for black bass, crappie, bluegill and some muskellunge. The incredible scenery on Pool 3 during the upcoming peak of the autumn colors surrounds paddlers as they make their way through this section of the Kentucky River.
